I was required to be co-located with the client and manage a team of up to 8 modellers based at DNV GL’s Loughborough office and field work sub-contractors. In addition to the AMP5 & 6 modelling for Arup/YW, I was also required to oversee and deliver a variety of projects such as supporting Morrison Utility Services (MUS) to deliver schemes in Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent Water; mains flushing schemes for Anglian Water; asset criticality projects for Severn Trent Water and Anglian Water; Piccolo to Synergi model conversion for Northumbrian Water.Outside of the water industry I have been Project Manager on a variety of projects for gas companies and the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). I have also acted as Bid Manager on several high value opportunities

As Senior Engineer / Project Manager for Yorkshire Waters 4-year AMP3 Network Modelling Contract, I was responsible for 8no. staff split between two modelling teams building of 42 WSZ models an 8 transmission mains models. Following completion of the AMP3 Network Modelling contract, I was part of the bid team leading to Mouchel’s successful re-tendering for YWs larger AMP4 Hydraulic Modelling contract. I was responsible for up to 16 staff organised in 3 modelling teams located in different offices. The contract primarily involved building 69 WSZ models and 10no. transmission mains models to a value of £1.7mBeyond the technical aspects, I was responsible for resource planning, monthly financial reporting, client liaison, recruitment, staff development & mentoring, annual appraisals/performance reviews, day-to-day Health & Safety (DSE assessments, Risk Assessments, Office Safety Supervision, ensuring safe working practices & appropriate training for site staff) and adherence to QA procedures. While continuing to support the YW AMP6 modelling programme, I was appointed Chair of Mouchel’s departmental ‘Water Management Technical Network' - a forum of experienced Water Engineers aiming to introduce new technology and innovation to Mouchel. On completion of the Yorkshire Water project, I undertook a 4-month secondment as an internal SAP Training Consultant. The role involved delivering training across to all levels of the business throughout the UK & NI. Following on from the successful delivery of this intensive programme, I continued to be involved in the maintenance / updating of the training materials and undertake ‘Business as Usual’ training as required until November 2009.From mid-2009, I was also responsible for managing a team of Network Modellers in Peterborough and Liverpool producing Network Models for the Anglian Water under their AMP4 Framework Agreement
