I’m a mindfulness specialist, forest therapy guide and coach-mentor - with a passion for helping people to live their best life possible.I spent almost 25 years as scientist in one of the world’s top global pharmaceutical organisations, contributing to the development of life-enhancing medicines, then specialising in the ‘human elements’ of organisational change. Role elimination gave me the opportunity to experience career transition and set up Inspirational Changes in 2009. I completed an Advanced Diploma in Professional Coach-Mentoring and became a Career Transition consultant, to help others transitioning through redundancy. I deepened my mindfulness practice by training with the University of Bangor and the Oxford Mindfulness Centre to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)-based approaches. I subsequently brought mindfulness into career transition to enable people to successfully navigate this - with focus, calm, clarity and compassion. I continue to work with a diverse range of corporate clients and introduce mindfulness to colleagues in practical, tangible and sustainable ways which make a positive difference to their daily lives, in and out of the workplace. In addition, I have also extended my professional offerings to help people to live well through other natural approaches. I trained with the global leaders in forest therapy to become the only Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide in Kent - and one of just a handful in the UK. I also co-founded a well-being business called “Be … Naturally” with Julie Wraight - offering natural approaches including yoga, mindfulness, forest therapy, nordic walking and laughter through day and residential retreats. I am delighted that I have a range of both traditional and natural approaches to draw on – and uniquely blend - to help people live their best life possible.
