Recruiting for mid-senior level roles within the General Insurance market across the UK

Employed by Allianz as the operational manager of the broker underwriting services department who were responsible for underwriting new business quotations, midterm adjustments and renewals for HNW Household, motor, landlords and tenants contents risks as well as reviewing risk appraisal reports.My role was to ensure the team delivered a consistent, excellent service to clients ensuring regulatory requirements were met and that customers were treated fairly at all times whilst providing effective leadership to the department. In addition I contributed to the management of relationships with brokers and the insurer panel.I ensured all processes, procedures and the utilisation of technology delivered the most efficient and cost effective administration possible within budget within the department and was responsible for delivering an effective quality control process, including audit monitoring and feedback to deliver consistent and excellent service.I recruited, led and motivate the team, reviewing and monitoring staff performance on a weekly, monthly and annual basis, ensuring individuals had the necessary skills and capabilities required, by the operation of an effective recruitment, training and personal development structure.I created an environment that encouraged innovation from within the teams and individuals ensuring that ideas were investigated and implemented and appropriate rewards given. I was also responsible for providing accurate and timely management information and contributed to the management of key external relationships in order to achieve revenue budget.
