After being a part of the SASPA Board since 2013 as the Professional Learning Convenor of the Strategic Direction Groups. I have commenced the role of Chief Executive.

The Australian Science and Mathematics School (ASMS) is a highly regarded specialist science and mathematics school for students in Years 10, 11 and 12.Role includes:• Engaging school community in setting the school vision, development and strategic plans. • Leading the external school review process involving representatives from across the school community.• Designing, implementing and managing the ASMS performance and development process. • Developing detailed project plans for system-level STEM strategy initiatives in partnership with the South Australian Department for Education Executive.• Overseeing the quality assurance process for professional learning services in line with national standards.• Continuing to build the partnership of Flinders University and the ASMS.

Role included:• Provided leadership in daily organisation structures and processes.• Led design of interdisciplinary STEM curriculum across Year 10 & 11 programs. • Staff deployment and timetabling.• Interdisciplinary curriculum design and implementation.• Student engagement.• Assessment and reporting.• Leadership of WHS procedures and accountability.

Role included:• Led professional development of ASMS staff and more than 3000 educators annually with a focus on improving student engagement, participation and achievement.

The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) is a modern, internationally-recognised secondary school qualification designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and personal capabilities to successfully participate in our fast-paced global society.Role on the Accreditation, Recognition and Certification Committee includes:• Advise Board on subject renewal aligned to SACE Modernisation agenda.

The Department for Education manages South Australia’s public education system, with the goal of delivering world-class primary and secondary education in all areas of the curriculum.Role includes: • Involvement in external school reviews for schools.

Role included: • As a project officer with the Learning Improvement Division, led design of Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) Strategy for Preschool-year 12.
