Through my recent PGCE and Initial Teacher Training, I have developed a deep understanding of the importance of creating a safe and supportive learning environment. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed, and my role as a teacher is to help them discover and unlock their full potential. My approach is student-centred, and I strive to create engaging and interactive lessons that encourage active participation and foster a love of learning.During my time at Warwick University, I gained experience in Years One, Three and Six through two complimentary placements. I feel truly privileged to have had the chance to teach a diverse range of pupils within the class ranging from EAL, SEND, and those with pupil premium. I have found teaching disadvantaged children to be a unique and rewarding experience, and I am passionate about giving children in these challenging and diverse areas the best start in their educational life. I firmly believe that I have the passion and drive to give children in these challenging and diverse areas the best start in their educational life.I am drawn to creating a well-rounded education that focuses on the academic, social, and emotional development of students and thrive to deliver an individual and exciting curriculum to students. I believe one of my strengths is transforming mundane content into interesting and enjoyable lessons that engages all students and promotes inclusion, I have implemented a variety of innovative teaching strategies, such as creating interactive digital resources, through Adobe Express, incorporating multi-sensory learning and movement.I am committed to ensuring the safety of all children not only in my classroom but also in the whole school and community through my safeguard training and volunteering work. I believe that happy children thrive and are open to learning, and I pride myself on my ability to form working relationships with my pupils in a short time.In addition to my passion for teaching, I am a Brownies Leader of over 10 years and my interests include art and design, music (I have Grade 6 in both clarinet and piano), basic gymnastics, and cheerleading through my British Cheerleading Association coaching qualification.During my academic studies at the University of Warwick, I was fortunate enough to have my abstract accepted by the Chartered College of Teachers for publication in their Autumn 2023 Issue of Impact. I have also furthered my knowledge of Children’s Mental Health and Wellbeing as well as Understanding Autism through a TQUK Level 2 course.
