About Jayne Marshall
I am a Writer, Producer and Director running Amanuensis Theatre Company Ltd.To date I have produced several plays that have been performed in Salford, Manchester, Tameside and Edinburgh. I won a BBC talent award with ‘Hand to Hand Combat’ Manchester Monologue that was performed at the Royal Exchange as part of their Suffragette City celebrations. This has now been adapted into a short film and will be screened at the Bolton Film Festival 2021. In 2014 I completed a Masters degree (with Distinction) in Playwriting from the University of Salford. Prior to this, I worked in the legal profession for over 12 years as a Paralegal, then a qualified Solicitor specialising in Conveyancing.In 2000 I became a qualified Trainer and combined professional practice with training new and inexperienced staff. In 2009, I branched out into delivering training within organisations that ran Government funded education and training programmes. I have also conducted Compliance and Audit reviews on these programmes.
