I'm the product of Yorkshire grit, an Oxford education, and learning the ropes at the world's leading law firms. While Korn Ferry describe me as an unusual personality for a law firm (red/yellow ambivert INFP), I live and breathe your deals alongside you, leveraging my nature as an open-minded, energetic overthinker, to find the best solutions for even your trickiest deal scenarios. I'm commercial, pragmatic and favour getting deals done in a win-win manner to maximise value rather than competitive, pedantic lawyering that rarely benefits anyone. Where possible, I try to keep things simple.My key specialisms are mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, strategic investments, re-organisations, corporate governance and general corporate advisory. Sector wise, I'm a generalist but have strong experience in Tech Media & Telecoms; life sciences/healthcare; financial services; consumer and energy. I'm good at understanding new markets and sectors quickly and cutting through the noise to work out what really matters.English law is often the governing law for domestic transactions as well cross-border deals and I have worked with colleagues and trusted firms to advise on business issues across the UK, EU, CIS, Americas, MENA and Asia.
