I fell in love with books at a very early age and have always loved to read and to write.My most recent book ‘Stories from Hog Haven’ has now sold over a hundred copies, profits are helping the hedgehog rescue that I help to run. It is a book of short stories, perfect for bedtime and I hope will instill a love of hedgehogs in young readers. I have both poetry and prose published in a number of anthologies and my first book ‘Of Heaven and Hell Holes’ is also available on Amazon. I am currently working on my second novel as well as a factual book charting my experiences of living with and subsequently reporting childhood sexual abuse. In 2011 I was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorder and depression. In 2017 I was diagnosed with myalgic encephalitis (ME). I feel passionately about mental health issues and, although I have some bad days, I am determined that these diagnoses will not stop me from achieving.
