Project managing the European activities of the Falkirk Business Gateway, responsible for the cost-effective delivery, monitoring and management of a European funded business support project.

Led a team of Business Advisers, to deliver a professional, impartial and confidential advisory and support service to SME's as part of STEP, the regional business support agency for Stirling, a key driver for successful economic development in the area.As a Business Gateway Growth Adviser I worked with businesses at any stage, focused on assisting them with their growth through identifying key areas for development including Innovation, Strategy, Business Improvement, People, Investment and ICT. I developed strong working relationships with key partners including Scottish Enterprise, Skills Development Scotland, Local Council etc to maintain an extensive network of contacts to sign-post and facilitate introductions which are invaluable to clients in ensuring they deliver their business objectives.

Volunteer with Youth Business Scotland.Panel members are responsible for vetting all business plans, interviewing applicants and making the all important decisions on awards.Mentors provide business support and guidance to young business people through regular communication. This involves developing strong working relationships with the proprietors of the businesses and the building up of mutual trust.
