Reporting directly into the Team Leader and Management Team, communication and trust are crucial in this role. Significant amounts of time are spent supporting and developing junior talent within our team and across the agency. Key responsibilities included managing the delivery of integrated communications solutions from the moment a media brief was received, to the presentation of our recommended connected solution. This continued through to the monitoring of campaigns once live, to reporting on campaign results during and after they had run their course. Included within the role were close working relationships with the Team Leader, Account Directors and planning teams within the agency. It was crucial that good working relationships were also established with external agencies including creative and PR. Another key area of responsibility included the co-ordination of training and mentoring of the Planner/Buyers within the team, supervising media buying, general account administration, day-to-day client management, liaison with finance departments and coordination of presentations.

Day-to-day this role centered around identifying which media channels sat most appropriately within paid media briefs across the client portfolio. Media plans which included all media channels were developed & bought on a regular basis. Therefore, communication, a working knowledge of all media and negotiation skills were key.
