I am responsible for the strategic direction and growth of 2BEnterprising - an enterprise education provider based in South Wales. We deliver innovative, creative, fun learning resources directly into primary schools - supporting teaching and learning in enterprise themes. We partner with organisations keen to enthuse the next generation in thinking entrepreneurially and provide opportunities to broaden their horizons.

My role as Head of Employer Development at Gower College Swansea was focused on managing engagement activity with local and national businesses, promoting and developing the College's portfolio of services to employers including Apprenticeships, commercial and ESF funded programmes - for example Skills for Industry.

As Deputy Director at Wales Millennium Centre, I was responsible for the day to day leadership of the Arts and Creative teams, operational planning and delivery of the Centre's artistic and creative vision. I represented the Artistic Portfolio within the Executive Leadership Team which comprises Producing, Programming and Creative Learning. I also provided support to, and deputised for, the Artistic Director of the Centre.

Working with the Business Performance team at the Centre - one of the UK's top cultural attractions - to support internal communication and generate reputational capital through promotion of the exceptional facilities, passionate teams, warm Welsh welcome and numerous awards recognising achievements at The Centre.

Workforce Development Advisor (WDA) on the Workforce Development Programme (WDP) supporting organisations in evaluating their people processes, CPD, communication and continuous improvement. Working with the Investors in People Framework, WDA's are able to help businesses get the best from their people through more strategic planning, effective implementation and regular review. My focus is on ensuring management have an appropriate infrastructure in place to encourage their individuals to deliver organisational strategy, manage performance and ensure everyone is empowered to contribute to continuous improvement.This role has also incorporated resource management - supporting organisations in accessing funding to implement recommended training plans and signposting to organisations who deliver effective learning activities appropriate for their staff.Having worked with organisations of all size and sector, this role has enhanced knowledge, awareness and understanding of various training and development methods - accommodating a range of learning styles and employer/employee demands.

My role within CIOTEK Ltd involved day to day management of the consultancy practice, generating new leads, tendering for new contracts, monitoring existing clients and providing advice, support and guidance to businesses who want to grow through enhanced Marketing activities and also Workforce Development.There were 4 employees within this organisation, 2 of which operate on funded support programmes to help businesses develop, access advice regarding grant funding and also guidance in developing their most valuable resource - their people. CIOTEK Ltd engaged with a number of highly professional, experienced associates on various other projects to maximise the service offering from this established consultancy. CIOTEK Limited supported individuals and business access funding for training, support for development of their business and general guidance in terms of what help is available to them.Projects included: DCELLS Workforce Development Programme Wales Cooperative Business Support and Training Programme Big Ideas Wales Role Model Programme Flexible Support for Business - Pre and Post Start programmes.I also undertook a number of Evaluation Projects for HE Institutions where they won funding to deliver support services to commercial organisations. I developed an excellent network of contacts in and around South Wales and significantly expanded our delivery network of training and workforce development services. My experience and insight into Investors in People and Workforce Development Strategy enabled me to deliver effective, efficient and targeted advice and guidance on how/where to make improvements to the way an organisation operates through its main resource - people. I delivered training programmes for commercial organisations, individuals, public sector, HE and FE institutions in relation to commercial awareness, taking ideas from concept to commercialisation, team-building and continuous improvement.

I started Part Time lecturing at UWTSD in January 2014 on the Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (Marketing Leadership & Planning Module), and I will also be delivering the Consultancy Management Module on the MBA. This role involves planning lectures, researching case studies, identifying the most appropriate materials and models to aid learners and delivering lectures on both an intense course delivery and part time evening class basis. As a Chartered Marketer with over 10 years commercial experience in Consultancy - I hope to integrate practical examples into the course structure allowing models and methodology to be brought to life.
