To live in Hope is an UK based charity operating in Ghana to improve the lives of the people in the country by providing and improving the education of children, providing basic necessities including water and sanitation and the training of parents in some economic activities to improve their income to allow long term financial sustainability, improved health and a brighter future for the children and the community. To live in Hope has placed particular attention on the needs of children with special needs as well as parents with some form of disability as often these people are not cared for due to beliefs, they have the devil inside and are often abandoned resulting in starvation and the death of many. To live in Hope has been operating in Ghana for the past 8 years. The organization adopts the participatory approach in identifying community problems and finds solutions to the problem with the community. This is to enhance the sustainability of the intervention provided to solve the problems identified as with the correct support the community continues to maintain and improve on the projects. YPI Counselling provide Mental Health and emotional support to young people aged 11 to 25 years old and parents of all ages. We are a psychological intervention for many issues such as abuse, anxiety, school and family relationships, self-harming, behavioural and many other issues.
