CurrentHaving taught music for 25 years, I have at last begun composing my own works. My first CD, "Pour Mon Amour" is available on my website, jaynethompson.net and is a collection of classical piano works. The first track, "Pour Mon Amour" is a love song, dedicated to all those people who are, or have been, in love. The second track on the CD, "New Beginnings" reflects the change in my life when, in 2015, I left working in education to embark on a new path as a composer. "In Memory" was written in memory of a very dear friend of mine who died in April 2003, and is for all those people who have lost someone. I remember feeling angry with him for leaving us and I desperately missed him for a long time. There are seven tracks on this CD - please visit www.jaynethompson.net to see more compositions.
