Jay is a senior-level business and marketing strategy consultant. He helps his clients identify, capture and clearly communicate a unique market position and compelling points of differentiation. He develops strategic platforms for growth through intensive and interactive engagement with his clients’ customers. He also provides business plan development and implementation solutions in the form of consulting assignments, facilitated strategy sessions, and outsourced CMO/COO services. Jay has served clients across a number of industry sectors including; information technology and artificial intelligence, life sciences, pharmaceutical, industrial manufacturing, government, and consumer products. Prior to his current role, Jay was Managing Partner and Founder of The ODM Group, a strategic digital communications company. With a twelve staff team, Jay led all new business development and client relations. His ODM clients notably included: Arkema S.A., WL Gore, Quest Diagnostics, The Anti-Defamation League, Magee Rehabilitation, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Wharton Research Data Services, U.S. Dept. of Commerce (NIST), LAGOS Jewelers, and TeleMedVentures, among others. Jay grew The ODM Group over a period of four years and later successfully sold his company to then ad agency, DDCWorks, where he then served as SVP, Brand Strategy. Prior to The ODM Group he had been hired to launch and lead Lorel Marketing Group's new Healthcare vertical that realized $7.5 million in gross revenue within the first two years. His clients included Quest Diagnostics, Sanofi Pasteur, Emerson Pharma Services, Grant Medical Center, VaxServe, Magee Rehabilitation and Brokerage Concepts Insurance.Jay’s post-MBA professional marketing career was preceded by a number of business planning and progressive management positions in both venture capital-backed startups and international corporate pharmaceutical and medical device development.
