Jason (Jay) Ostrow: Director of E-Commerce & Technology at Impact DimensionsJay obtained a Sales & Marketing degree from California University of Pennsylvania in 1998. In early 2000, he began his professional career with a dot-com company called VerticalNet, a pioneer in business-to-business media for 32+ vertical industry markets. Each industry website was a one-of-a-kind portal featuring news, cutting-edge new products, industry-specific job postings, and educational training. Jay began as a sales representative for four different markets and quickly excelled into the role of Client Advocacy Manager. Four years later, Jay found his way into the world of promotional products by becoming an Account Executive for Distributor Services with The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI). During his 8.5 years with ASI, Jay became a top sales representative and a marketing trainer at all of the ASI National Tradeshows across the US and Canada talking about strategic marketing and using software as a service (SaaS) to help grow a business. In 2009, he was promoted to Executive Director at ASI and was given the task to spearhead the newly acquired Canadian division for distributor services. In August of 2014, Jay joined Impact Dimensions as the Director of E-Commerce & Technology. His top objectives were to grow their web-based business, create brand consistency, explore new and innovative technologies, and sell web-based online enterprise solutions. Year to date, his objectives have been met and the company’s top web-based client doubled its online business. Jay’s business motto has always been: you get more bees with honey than vinegar. My hobbies are snowboarding, event training for triathlons, and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and dogs.
