Director Of Product And Business DevelopmentNational Board For Certified Counselors (Nbcc) 2011 - Apr 2017As the Director of Product and Business Development I designed and piloted projects for NBCC and their affiliate the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE). The last three years focused heavily on telemental health. I created the concept of a multi-professional telemental health credential for counselors, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and addictions counselors called Board Certification in Telemental Health. I then researched, design and developed the majority of the curriculum, designed credential specifications, operational specifications, business development/marketing channels, and strategies to include other professions. The curriculum included 9 peer-reviewed telemental health courses and multi-profession best practices. In addition to the credential, I presented annually to state mental health license boards on telemental health and consulted on state regulations. Other major projects at NBCC included: The Professional Counselor-Technical Editor where I created the online presence and flip book for the journal to make it more user-friendly. The journal won two awards while I was on the team. The initial design, development and marketing of the NBCC and CCE job boards was under my direction. For CCE I created strategies for growing business with state license boards, help to create the certification and marketing strategy for the Board Certified Coach credential and the Human Services school directory. For NBCC I developed and launched organization-wide social media policy, training, and multi-channel engagement strategies. NBCC is a bit conservative, so only a few ideas were implemented. In addition, I created many strategies for business development, marketing and advertising of NBCC and CCE services. I resigned in 2017 from NBCC/CCE to pursue independent work in telemental health and telemedicine.
