I have 18 years of professional experience in education. Recently, my primary focus has been on special education and educational technology. I have worked as a special education teacher, and the experience has been overwhelmingly productive. Giving children a place to practice their skills without judgment is the first step toward building a successful student. I received my educational doctorate in curriculum and learning from American College of Education in March 2023. Blending this knowledge with my master's in school leadership, I want to take my skills beyond the classroom to impact more students and educators. I have served as a testing coordinator and after-school tutoring coordinator, which helped me learn how to be detail-oriented while focusing on the big picture. Developing and leading staff development has helped me learn how to share my knowledge with other educators. Beyond education, I have worked in customer service, retail (Old Navy, Gold Toe, GAP), and professional sports organizations (Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Buccaneers). This experience has helped me understand how to interact effectively with various people in different settings.
