Head Of Product - Employeexm PlatformQualtrics Jul 2021 - Nov 2024Seattle, Washington, United StatesWhat drives employee engagement? How can companies avoid employee burnout and support well-being? What can managers do to foster highly engaged teams? I lead a team of incredible Product Managers who are building tools to answer these questions and more. My product portfolio generates $XXXM in ARR and includes technology for listening to employees wherever they are, understanding the drivers of good or bad experiences, sharing those insights within the organization and recommending actions that have the highest impact. We also own the Data Governance portfolio that enables our customers to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of their employee data. -
Head Of Product - BrandxmQualtrics Jul 2020 - Jul 2021Seattle, Washington, United StatesHow does my brand compare to competitors in the minds of consumers? What brand attributes transform an average consumer into a brand advocate? Did my latest advertising campaign drive up Brand consideration? I led the launch of BrandXM, a new product category for Qualtrics, to help companies answer these questions and more. As the founding PM I helped find early product-market fit, led the global launch of our V1.0 product and laid down a 2-year product vision that resulted in funding a product team with 4 PMs. In typical startup fashion I was part of a cross-functional pod consisting of Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and industry SMEs that set BrandXM on a annual run-rate of $XXM within 12 months of launch. -
Group Product Manager - CorexmQualtrics Feb 2019 - Jun 2020Greater Seattle AreaI led Qualtrics’s most mature product - CoreXM - during a phase when Qualtrics went from a single product to multiple product lines. I was part of the core x-functional team that redefined our target customer segments, built a product roadmap for each segment, hired a team of 3 PMs and launched our very first freemium product - Qualtrics Surveys - which has, over the years, generated $XXXM in deal pipeline and $XM in incremental revenue. -
Principal Product Manager - Core PlatformQualtrics Feb 2018 - Feb 2019Seattle, Washington, United StatesI championed the vision to make Qualtrics the preferred survey tool for all Enterprise customers. I launched features that enabled companies democratize access to our platform while maintaining central governance with minimal administrative overhead. The product vision that I created endured more than 2 years after I left the team and help consolidate Qualtrics’s position as an Enterprise-grade research platform. -
InstructorProduct School Dec 2018 - Oct 2019Greater Seattle AreaSharing my love for Product Management with future product leaders, teaching a weekend class at the Product School. -
Manager, Product Management - Search & Discovery, Home InnovationAmazon Feb 2017 - Feb 2018Greater Seattle AreaWhat is the key difference between shopping for a TV on Amazon vs. shopping for a couch? Well… one lends itself well to keyword based search (e.g. 70” LG OLED TV) whereas the other requires an element of serendipitous discovery. I led a team of PMs envisioning a search experience for categories that do not led well to keyword-based search like Furniture, Decor and Art. We experimented with different layouts, blending elements of visual discovery with search results and built concepts that used AI / ML to adjust search results based on a user’s style preferences learnt by tracking their interactions with the results. -
Senior Product Manager - Amazon PetsAmazon Jan 2015 - Feb 2017Seattle, Washington, United StatesHow do you deliver a shopping experience on the everything store that feels like you are shopping at a specialty store? As the founding Product Manager on the Amazon Pets team I helped envision a shopping experience for pet parents on Amazon that felt like shopping at a specialty pet supplies store. I introduced the concept of Amazon Pet Profiles to let pet parents share information about their pets, interact with other pet parents and in the process help Amazon offer a personalized shopping experience appropriate for their pet. I also led an update to Amazon’s Subscribe and Save program that led to 3x increase in pet products that you can subscribe to. -
Senior Technical Program ManagerAmazon Oct 2012 - Dec 2014Greater Seattle AreaIf you ever read magazines on Kindle pre-2012 you would have noticed almost no difference between the print version and the digital version - flat file, no interactivity or dynamic content. I was part of a team that brought interactive magazines to Kindle. As a TPM on the Kindle Newsstand team I helped define the backend publisher experience and the frontend reader experience for interactive magazines and launched popular titles like Time, Wired and People in interactive format. -
Program Manager IiMicrosoft Mar 2009 - Oct 2012Redmond, WaAs a Program Manager on the Windows Security team I built products that helped IT confidently deploy Windows within their organizations. I owned the areas of Application security (what code gets to run on managed desktops) and Security Auditing (what activities get tracked). Over two releases (Windows 7 & 8) I contributed to a few important additions to our security portfolio - Applocker: an end-to-end system for managing what code could run on IT-managed machines, Attributed-based Security Audits: flexible audit policies based on attributes of the user, the data and the machine from where data was accessed and Application Sandbox: a secure execution environment for new Windows 8 applications that used declarative permissions. -
