I am excited to be putting my expertise to work as an independent designer, now collaborating with a variety of clients to create print and digital materials that express clear memorable messaging that is pleasing to the eye.It is satisfying to be at that sweet spot in my career where the years of hands-on experience make the work feel second-nature, while still providing the challenge of bringing each new project to completion. I’m not the cocky kid fresh out of design school wanting to use every trick in the book, nor the old school stalwart relying on the same old tricks for every project. My work continually gives me the opportunity to combine new techniques with proven practice to come up with innovative and relevant messaging that effectively reaches the intended audience. I never get tired of arriving at that moment when a design is just right, on time and on budget.First-time clients appreciate the confidence I provide throughout the creative process as we come to an understanding of what the goal and look of a project is, and the steps needed to reach final draft. Assisted in the planning and designing of advertisements, art, photo illustrations and logos. Photographer for NACUFS (National Association Conference of University Food Services) regional conferences.
