BLACKOUT TELEVISION is a half hour comedy set on the air and behind the scenes of a fictional Black Entertainment Network, BTN (Black Television Network.) A cross between CNN and BET. BTN’s line up features parodies of many recognizable formats. "Morning Blackout," a six hour News, Information and Lifestyle program not unlike “Good Morning America”, "As Black Men,"an overly earnest discussion show inspired by “The View’ and "Lady Justice," our homage “Judge Judy.”In the spirit of “SCTV”, with the production approach of “Curb Your Enthusiam” and behind-the-scenes feel of “Larry Sanders”, Episodes combine the satirical comedy of the fictional shows with the “off camera” professional and personal lives of the principal characters, he production staff, interactions with celebrity guests, and everything in between.
