My role involves managing the test team for development of next generation surgical microscope by getting involved from planning to release of the product. I am responsible for working with a cross functional team to ensure a quality product. Some of the activities I own are designing the test strategy, test planning, resourcing and schedule of the product development.

I am involved in verification and validation of Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) system and Heart Implant Applications for Medtronic. RAS system is highly complicated system that will help the doctors to perform surgery in controlled environment. While the Heart Implant Applications are used by the clinicians to monitor and help patients with very weak hearts who are running on implants. My role involves planning of sprints and test cycle, reviewing and creating requirements, test artifacts like test cases, test designs and automated test scripts . I am also responsible for creating test plans and test strategy. I make sure that the associated risks are identified and are mitigated. I help and guide the team to overcome technical hurdles with there test code. Since this is a very complex system I need to be vigilant for the defects, problems, schedule and quality. I look day to day sprint activities to ensure the team in making progress in right direction. I work closely with developers, product and program management, clinical engineers, risk managers and regulatory team to ensure product meets the standard quality and risk measures as need by guidelines. My job involves planning, designing and execution of manual and automation cycles of different subsystems and components of the system.

My role involved in building the basic blocks of the automation test plans and test framework using python 2.7 for the IACS Test automation. I am part of automation cycles from the very initial phase and help to evaluate and understand different automation approach for the product.Responsibilities: 1. Create automation plans and backlog2.
