I worked with the digital creative department at Nordstrom to concept, design and deliver marketing materials in support of Nordstrom.com, Nordstrom.ca, NordstromRack.com and HauteLook.com• Designed mini-sites and online advertising collateral to promote Nordstrom’s first Canadian stores in Ottawa and Vancouver.• Concepting of national sale campaigns through the use of original digital photography.• Responsible for improving the design of all transactional email communications sent from nordstrom.com including order confirmations and sales receipts.• Establishing digital guidelines for use by external brands such as Kate Spade, M•A•C and Michael Kors.• Collaborating with teams at external creative agencies, including Responsys and Oracle.

Working within the Marketing, Communications and Public Relations department I was responsible for the production of all online marketing initiatives for Seattle Opera, including web, social media, mobile and emerging devices.• Responsible for the day-to-day management of seattleopera.org (originally designed by POP)• Launched the company’s first ever mobile optimized website which resulted in an instant increase in mobile ticket sales.• Designed and launched the official Seattle Opera iPad App, providing ticket holders with the only way to digitally read the programs created for each opera production.• Researched and deployed the company’s first use of targeted Facebook advertising.• Recruited filmmakers to create online films in support of each opera.• Collaborated with the agency POP on the design and testing of new website features, including adding a ‘rounding-up’ shopping cart feature to increase donations.

I was initially hired by Eddie Bauer on a 3 month contract to assist with the re-design of customer service pages on eddiebauer.com. After completing this project my contract was extended and my duties expanded to cover a number of other digital projects.• Assisted in the re-design of all customer service pages on eddiebauer.com including shopping cart and user account pages. This work also included working closely with internal developers to ensure designs were built to the design teams specification.• Designed and developed the official Wordpress blog for the company’s ‘First Ascent’ line of active clothing. The basis of this design is still in use today as the official Eddie Bauer blog.• Worked with Fox Searchlight to design and build a Facebook promotion tie-in for the James Franco/Danny Boyle film ‘127 Hours’.• Helped define a new ‘social media creative team’ in order to provide design for social media initiatives This included the design and build of custom Facebook apps and recommending social app development vendors to the business leaders.• Design of email marketing and online banner advertising

"Live From Abbey Road" was a music TV show filmed at the legendary Abbey Road studios in London. The show featured interviews and in-studio performances from the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer and Fleet Foxes.I was approached by the show producers to design and launch the official website in support of the show.• Led the design and build of the official website• Collaborated with international broadcasters including Channel 4 (UK) and The Sundance Channel (US) to provide online marketing materials.
