Responsible for developing sales strategies for the organization to attain fundraising goals of $50 million. This entailed 1) work with C-Level Executives in orchestrating attainable sales strategies and connection points in meetings to close seven and six-figure sponsorships for the games; 2) creating tailored sponsorship deck proposals with the creative team for the client that appeals to making a return on investment for their sponsorship; 3) work with the governing body - International World Games Association (IWGA) to attain sponsorship goals domestically and internationally; 4) deliberations with globally recognized partners in the planning for the games such as the National Football League, International Olympic Committee, and Wasserman Agency. 5) managed and created TWG 2022 Activations regionally and nationally.

Responsible for leading 120 employees in the professional football team front office planning the fastest start-up league in history along with 1) overseeing the business operations, marketing, ticketing, and sales; 2) initiated high-level executive meetings to support fundraising $1.2 million which is the most of any team in the league; 3) worked with the marketing department to build an awareness campaign generating ticket sales, earned media, and included player appearances; 4) creating a campaign that garnered much media coverage in the market; 5) developing a corporate social responsibility initiative in the community to promote the team in the market.

With nearly 10 years in public office representing District 7, Roberson focused on enhancing the overall visual appearance of the City of Birmingham. Roberson served as the Secretary of the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Complex Board (BJCC) and was a key player with many others in the negotiations for the development of Protective Stadium in Birmingham, AL. He also led the drive for a development as a City Councilor to eliminate a food dessert in southwest Birmingham by negotiating a commercial shopping center that now features the largest Publix Supermarket in the metropolitan area. Due to a large part of Roberson’s consistent discussions with the private sector there has been over $1 Billion of development that he has led or been a part of in Birmingham.
