Jay Rubin is a leadership communication coach and corporate trainer, a public relations and marketing communication consultant, and an adjunct professor at New York University's Stern School of Business. As a communication coach, Jay works with executives, entrepreneurs, and government officials to heighten the reach and influence of their speaking and writing in leadership and/or intercultural contexts. He has conducted workshops at Bain Consulting, European University Public Relations and Information Officers Association, Johnson & Johnson, Marvel Entertainment, SCORE, and various other organizations in the U.S. and abroad. Jay is also a speaker and panelist at industry and civic events, and he has written many widely read articles on business communication and media trends. As a PR and marketing communication consultant, Jay advises clients in the development of business strategies related to corporate and/or brand image, media relations, employee communication, community outreach, and corporate social responsibility. His diverse client roster over the years has ranged from The Walt Disney Company and Gerber Baby Products to Public Service Electric & Gas and the U.S. Navy.At New York University, Jay teaches undergraduate, MBA, and executive education courses at the Stern School of Business. Previously, he was a faculty member in the Public Relations and Corporate Communication graduate degree program at NYU's School of Professional Studies. In addition, Jay has taught courses focusing on reputation management, persuasion and marketing communication at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and about cross-cultural communication at Johannes Kepler University in Austria. Guest lectures have ranged from The University of Pennsylvania/Wharton School to RMIT University/Vietnam.
