I established my practice in 1992 following completion of my training with several firms in London. It was clear to me that existing accounting practices were failing their Clients by their lack of “proactiveness” and their use and understanding of computer solutions to assist their Clients.I was dealing with many Small and Medium sized businesses that were constantly provided accounting and tax support long after their year end.It was felt that in addition to regular annual accounting / tax work, such Clients should be receiving regular monthly / quarterly accounting / tax reports. This would enable businesses to tackle ongoing issues leading to far greater profits and would allow the creation of ongoing tax planning solutions resulting in greater tax savings.Such ideas were gaining popularity in London but they were pursued by only a few and I saw an opportunity to create a business that would present these ideas to the business community. Such an approach over the last 20 years has seen the practice grow and accumulate a large bank of Clients who believe in the service and the support.
