Mr. Christopher has over 40 years of experience in the petroleum industry as an environmental compliance manager, air quality specialist, and project manager. For the last 25 years, Mr. Christopher has focused on air quality issues, with results-oriented, hands-on experience in both corporate headquarters and facility regulatory settings. He also has experience coordinating environmental reporting requirements for water quality and solid/hazardous waste. He has managed the environmental compliance program and professional staff for a major refinery’s downstream businesses and has been responsible for environmental compliance for terminals, pipelines, and retail marketing facilities. In addition, Mr. Christopher has a strong knowledge of state and federal environmental regulatory programs and has extensive environmental auditing and acquisition/divestiture experience. He is an active participant in the recent Colorado ozone SIP development process, including regular interaction with state regulatory, regional air quality organizations, public interest organizations, and the public.
