As an educator, it is my passion to help students succeed. Whether inside or outside the classroom, success is key. I have served as the District Technology Director for the last seven years providing technology support to both the faculty and the student body. While overseeing the technology, I am heavily involved in extracurricular activities such as One-Act Play, Band, and UIL (Number Sense, Calculator, and Math). As the director/coach of these activities, I have been blessed to work with some outstanding students that has resulted in 12 trips to the state level bringing home five State Gold Medals, two State Silver Medals, and three State Bronze Medals. The awards are nice, but what I take great pleasure in is seeing the growth of each student through the journey of each event. It is my hope that I am able to teach them a small something they will be able to take with them when they leave Ropes ISD.
