Mainframe Systems Adminstrator; responsible for DB2 systems programming for 6+ DB2 subsystems on a large mainframe environment. Additional responsibilities include CA-DATACOM, BMC-Control, CICS and CA-Endevor systems programming. • Technical Lead for installation of CICS v5.2 across 4 LPARS and 40+ CICS regions and a CICSPLEX. • Technical Lead for installation of DB2 v11.1 across 4 LPARS and 6+ DB2 subsystems. Previously installed DB2 v10, v9.1 and V8. • Technical Lead for installation of CA-DATACOM v15 on 4 LPARS and 5 Multi-users. Previously installed v14, v12, v11 and v10. • Solely responsible for the installation of BMC-Control v8 on three LPARS. • Solely responsible for the installation of CA-Endevor v17 on 4 LPARS. Previously installed v15. • Solely responsible for the installation of CA-DB2 v19, formerly Platinum on 4 LPARS. Previously installed v17, v14, v10, v11, v11.5, and v12.• Solely responsible for the installation of ASG Jobscan, Chicagosoft’s Quickref and BMC Quickstart• Responsibilities include the installation and maintenance of several products on a z/OS operating system, which includes, but not limited to: DB2, DATACOM, z/OS Unix Systems Services, CA-DB2, DATAPROPAGATOR, and BMC Quickstart. SMP/E utilized almost daily. I monitor and performance tune DB2 and DATACOM. Perform analysis to determine a products necessity. Self-taught in HTML, REXX, and JAVA. I write REXX and ISPF applications to perform administrative functions and write SQL. Consult with vendors and resolve issues and client problems.
