My Responsibility as the Global Supplier Diversity Manager is to leads the company’s efforts to identify, expand and accelerate the use of Small, Minority-owned, Women-owned, Small disadvantaged, Veteran-owned, HUBZone, LGBTQ and Disability business enterprises. Develop the business strategy for a comprehensive Global Supplier Diversity Program and leads in the implementation and management of the program for the Corporation. Ensures that Diverse business enterprises are given full consideration in the company’s bidding and selection processes. Establishes comprehensive outreach strategies and prioritizes the company’s efforts to maximize opportunitiesRequires strong partnerships with diverse supplier communities, the company’s Public-Sector Sales, Field Operations, Engineering, and other internal customers to ensure the company’s business objectives are met. Directly engages in vendor outreach, social media, vendor due diligence, pairs internal opportunities with qualified Diverse Suppliers, assists in contract negotiations and leads diverse supplier relationship building. Deals with stakeholders and cross functional teams at all levels throughout the company requiring managerial acumen, tact, and awareness of the company’s business environment.
