Responsible for the acquisition of services and capital/expensed equipment and goods. Serves as the relationship manager for both internal clients and suppliers by seeking appropriate solutions for all sourcing needs, creating, reviewing,and negotiating contractual arrangements through thought leadership, subject matter specialization, and strategic advising. Primary responsibility for US Managed Print Services. Oversees vendor relationships with suppliers; reviews outsourcing arrangements; leads supplier diversity initiative; and works as a strategic advisor for other service arrangements (e.g., off-shoring, managed print, cloud, DBAR, Data Aggregator, Meetings & Event Management, etc.).Drives the bidding process to capitalize on eCommerce opportunities and facilitate effective long term supplier relationship and contract management.Writes and conducts complex RFx's (RFP, RFQ &RFI), in related commodity areas on a global, cluster, and/or local basis.

Drives Jefferson Radiology’s IT approach to vendor strategy and planning, vendor contract management, strategic sourcing /procurement, vendor relationship management and vendor performance management with accountability for direction across all IT Departments. Responsible for addressing spend analytics, complex vendor relationships and transactions and builds a framework to enable and support all internal customers to manage vendor performance, contract and compliance issues within best practices.Develops IT sourcing strategies and initiatives that enable cost-effective use of external resources, managed services and products to meet Jefferson’s continued growth. Includes ensuring IT contracts are being managed efficiently. Also works closely with all internal customers to understand requirements, research industry solutions, facilitate vendor selection, help develop strong contracts and service level agreements and manage the ongoing vendor relationship throughout the term of the contract.

Board Director & Chairman-University Relations.Develop, support and coordinate educational programs with area universities in order to promote the professional training of CAPM members and to promote the Purchasing and Supply Management profession.

Provides vendor management and consulting for all indirect and direct spend for all IT commodity categories. This includes e-Procurement as an experienced professional with extensive procurement skills in all aspects of supply chain management, strategic sourcing, contract mangement, project management, RFP process management and supplier relationships, scorecarding and performance management.

Directed and managed all procurement and strategic sourcing activities with assigned contracts, commodities and customer support areas. Directed and managed supplier performance, review and scorecarding. Drove the RFP and RFQ process for supplier, commodity and services as required supporting the lines of business. Managed Chasm Industries’ (formerly Space Fitter’s) Fortune 500 customer base asset inventory recovery portfolios. Managed staffs throughout all of Chasm’s offices around the country. Played a primary role in determining strategies, setting standards and tactical direction to help maximize the value of reusable technology to obtain the greatest financial gain for customers. Responsible for all business development and plans for future business opportunities including responding to “Request For Proposals” (RFP’s & RFI’s), creating statement of works (SOW’s), procurement/strategic sourcing functions, vendor management and negotiating contracts.

Managed the procurement, end of life and disposition for all IT assets within all Aetna Home and Field Offices Nationwide. Designed, implemented and managed a formal De-Acquisition process for excess Information Technology equipment (including phones, faxes, pc’s, laptops, mid-range processors, servers, printers, phone switches, etc.). Developed policy, procedures and standards encompassing: redeployment, broker sales, trade-in programs, employee resale/donation program and salvage/recycling process supporting the home office complex and over 400 field offices country-wide.
