Techo UK, was an independent franchise of a commercial furniture manufacturer based in Prague, Czech Republic. Our route to market was through the Design and Build and distribution network. I started with Techo UK in the very early days of trading, and was integral to the development and success of the business in the UK. Techo is now an owned subsidiary of the Royal Ahrend Group, with a group division turnover of 40mil EUR. Responsible for: my continued business levels in the United Kingdom as well as (not instead of) the development of business within the GCC region, specifically Saudi Arabia and the UAE. -Establishing sustainable distribution networks within the UAE.-Promoting our brand amongst local UAE based architects and designers.-Presenting consultative ‘lunch and Learns’ to local A+D, D+B and end users-Maintaining relationships with UK based Architect and designers specifying products for projects within the GCC.-Managing and supporting a local UAE based sales person.

Responsible for: generating sustainable and strategic B2B sales through a network of commercial furniture distributors, whilst maintaining my previously established relationships with interior design contacts. -Identifying potential, developing and maintaining beneficial relationships with influences across the A+D, D+B and end-user sales sectors. -identifying the business, securing the business, managing the project, delivering the project and supporting day 2 efficiencies. -Supporting and mentoring the sales team with direction.-Establishing systems and processes to ensure the efficient running of the sales team.

Responsible for: Liaising, influencing and securing business from UK and international, architects and interior designers to support in the product specification of commercial furniture projects.-Producing high quality tender submissions, accurate pricing documentation and presentations.-Assisting Interior designers with 3D design and space planning utilising auto CAD-Implementing comprehensive sales planning. -Implementing and maintaining sales forecasting.-Attending, organising and supporting industry networking events.
