Manage overall strategy for 24-hour programming of KAMU-FM (HD1) and KAMU-Classical (HD2), and for marketing and events, ensuring that KAMU's service to the campus and surrounding community fulfills our federal license as a public media station while being guided by Texas A&M's core values.Oversee underwriting/sales for FM and TV, as well as the efficient scheduling of commercials, promos and PSAs for KAMU-FM and KAMU-Classical.Set the strategy for development and execution of on-demand audio programming made available via the KAMU website, a variety of podcast platforms, and on YouTube.Explore partnerships with academic units, student organizations and student media that teach and amplify student-created audio storytelling for KAMU. Promoted the agency's programs and services through both traditional and social media, as well as through marketing initiatives. Directed TEEX's Communications & Marketing Services department, managed media relations, copywriting, graphic design, web, video, photography and multimedia capabilities.Provided leadership for the creation, development and delivery of high-quality communications programs, products and messages that best told the TEEX story to internal and external audiences.Was responsible for a communications/marketing staff of 13 and a $1.3 million budget. Also responsible for an off-site, fully staffed printing operation with a $500,000 budget.
