General Cashier January 2011- March 2012Flora Park and Flora Creek Deluxe Hotel Apartments• Collection of cash/cheque in Front Office/Outlets Cashiers’ remittance envelopes from the safe box and verify it against the remittance logbook. • Count cash/cheque and tally it with Opera Report. • Prepare bank deposits for cash and cheque collection and deposit the same day. • Prepare General Cashier’s Daily Report and forward it to Income Auditor for review• Provide Front Office and F&B outlets with required change and anticipate for extra change for long weekends and/or holidays and make arrangements accordingly. • Pay all “due back” to Front Office Agent. • Update foreign currency rates in the Front Office and in the Opera System on weekly basis. • Complete house fund cash count sheet on daily basis. • Keep a copy of safe box combination and keep in Finance Manager office• Reconcile, investigate and correct any cash and credit card discrepancies.• Ensure all takings are banked in a timely manner• Perform spot checking of cash floats.• Keep record of petty cash vouchers transactions.• Complete all cashiering reports and any other duties to support business demand• Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required• Execute on tasks/requests as instructed by the Finance Manager.
