My duties include operating a 25 tonne injection press machine, I first make sure the correct order is visible on a screen, make sure correct material is used for each job, and that the machine is safe to operate by running at the correct temperatures and no visible damage. I visually check parts and pen mark any concern areas to prove my work. I make sure to keep a clean and tidy work environment.

My duties include operating cells that use welding robots to create doors for cars, grind and polish welds to specification and being able to gauge the parts to check for out of specification areas within a part. I am also a semi skilled MIG welder having to weld blown holes. I also visually check the parts to make sure they meet a good standard of quality while also making sure I keep a clean and tidy work environment.

Working in a variety of automotive factories checking the quality of the parts to be placed on line this would include looking for scratches or marks to damaged parts.
