As a teacher at Decatur Central High School, I leverage my digital media expertise and passion for storytelling to inspire and educate the next generation of content creators. I design and deliver engaging and innovative lessons that cover various aspects of media production, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, social media, and Adobe Illustrator. I also collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate media literacy and skills across the curriculum and support school-wide initiatives and events.I have a bachelor's degree in communication and media studies from Indiana State University, where I developed a solid foundation of theory and practice in the dynamic and evolving media industry. I have also gained valuable experience in different media roles and settings, such as market lot tech/photographer at Xcite Automotive and operations manager at Hoosier Cutting Crew. In these positions, I honed my technical, creative, and managerial skills, and contributed to the success and growth of the organizations. I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques, and to explore new opportunities and challenges in the media field. My goal is to make a positive and lasting impact through my work and to pursue a fulfilling and rewarding career path.
