I worked as a medical technician for home health doctor visits. My duties consisted ofmaintaining patient charts, preparing and planning the schedule of patients each day,taking vitals, drawing blood, assisting in minor surgeries/procedures, giving injectionsand taking labs under the supervision of a doctor or nurse practitioner.

I worked as an emergency medical technician on a basic life support ambulance. Itreated patients in the back of an ambulance during minor medical emergencies orscheduled transports. I took vitals, applied first aid, and provided comfortable, quicktransport to emergency rooms and medical offices.

I monitored patients in a locked-in psychiatric health facility. I worked one on one with high risk patients that were a danger to themselves or others. when necessary I provided medical interventions and readied patients for transport that had hurt themselves or others.

I transported patients to scheduled dialysis and medical appointments. I also ensured patient safety and comfort in a non-emergency ambulance. I practiced empathy and patience to comfort patients that were coming from hospitals, doctor appointments, or dialysis.
