CurrentAs an ELA teacher for grades 6-9 and a Bible teacher for grade 8, I am dedicated to cultivating a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking in my students while fostering a deeper understanding of biblical principles and Christian values.Key Responsibilities: • English Language Arts (ELA) for Grades 6-9: Develop and deliver engaging curriculum that encourages students to explore literature, enhance their writing skills, and think analytically. I focus on building strong foundational skills in grammar, vocabulary, and composition while nurturing creativity through narrative, expository, and persuasive writing assignments. • Bible Studies for Grade 8: Lead Bible study sessions that encourage students to explore scripture, understand theological concepts, and apply Christian values to their daily lives. I aim to create a safe and open environment for students to discuss, question, and grow in their faith. • Encourage Critical Thinking and Discussion: Facilitate thought-provoking class discussions that inspire students to engage with texts, express their ideas, and respect diverse perspectives. • Integrate Faith and Learning: Incorporate biblical values and principles into the ELA curriculum to promote a holistic Christian education that integrates faith with academic excellence. • Mentorship and Guidance: Serve as a mentor, supporting students in their personal, spiritual, and academic growth, and encouraging them to develop a strong moral compass.By combining my passion for literature, writing, and faith, I aim to help students not only excel academically but also grow spiritually and develop a lifelong love for learning.
