Powder Soles provides reassurance for snowboards who venture away from the beaten trail.Midway through the 2016/2017 winter season, I noticed a highly ignored problem with snowboarding. As I grew more comfortable with riding through the trees and into some deep snow I learned the hard way that the last thing you want is to lose speed. If you get stuck in that white quick-sand you're most likely going to exert more energy than you'd like trying to get free. While sitting in a class about the history of outdoor products I was inspired to combine the functionality of a snowshoe with a snowboard. I quickly began sketching away and looked for other snowboarders who experienced the same problem. As I continued to validate my product and my market I realized this is a common problem that a large population of snowboarders wants a solution for. The solution is to give them the reassurance that they can ride with freedom.
