The jewelry side of the business was closed down and they are now concentrating on their loose stone buying and selling side.

I assisted a small group of people in Bangkok who were looking to start up a company called Global-cast Networks.My duties were contacting financial institutions in the Asia pacific area. Informing the details of the company, promoting the future view and informing them of why they should look into the opportunity. I would then arrange a face to face appointment for the directors to go and give a full presentation to the financial institution.

I spent 2 years in the Philippines training and managing a call center of up to 80 English speaking Philippine telesales personnel. We were selling memberships to a fashion and lifestyle discount card. It had several well-known fashion and lifestyle stores linked which were found in the USA. We were calling into the US to the general public who had completed a marketing survey.

Customers included the big copier shops, small to medium businesses and all new photocopier / fax machine customers.The stationary sales process for all of Canons stationary got centralized and outsourced to be controlled by a third party. I was involved in setting up and training staff in the centralization and once it was running smoothly I handed over to the third party entity to continue.
