Before my life as an activist, I was an engineer. I have always excelled at analytical thinking and I’m the first member of my family to finish college. Fast forward 20 years, I am using my strength in systems-thinking as board member/leader of multiple advocacy groups: King County Developmental Disabilities Division, DNC Disability Council, Metropolitan Democratic Club of Seattle, and Seattle Commission for People with disAbilities with the goal of advancing disability rights, voting accessibility, and diversity/inclusion.My singular goal is to advance disability rights, focus government/business agency attunement for people with disabilities, promote national representation, and improve voting accessibility for all community members. Did you know that wheelchair-bound members of the 2016 democratic electoral college were unable to sit with their delegation for the convention? Bringing this to the forefront ensured that this will not be an issue in future elections!
