• One of the key personnel from the Quality Control Department who is responsible for the daily inspection of structural steel assemblies which includes piping, tee beams, channel beams, I-beams columns, bearing pile, angle beam, hollow steel section (HSS) and plates.• Conducts visual and dimensional inspections during all phases of the process of fabrication, from the fit-up, and welding until final assembly. Ensure assembly drawings and welding details have been followed.• Checks the delivery of the materials and verify its specification, grade and thickness as per the approved technical data sheet and construction drawing prior to fabrication.• Attending various QA/QC coordination meetings along with Project Managers, Consultants and Client’s Representatives to discuss site issues.
