Process EngineerFmc Jun 1972 - Aug 1985was a direct hire my twelve years as a Process Engineer with FMC. I spent 3 years in the technical department working on process improvement projects for several plants (Ammonia, Carbon Bisulfide, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Carbon Tetrachloride). I also spent 2 years in an Environmental Engineering position where I was responsible for ensuring plant discharges met regulatory limits and I was also involved in preparing environmental permits. I spent 7 years in the Chlorinated Bleach Plant where I was involved in daily production and responsible for process Improvements. The FMC Plant was sold and about 70% was demolished and I was laid off.
