About Jay Still, Cia

Graduate of the MPA program at The University of Georgia with a concentration in public policy analysis. Currently working at the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General as a Lead Performance Auditor.I love serving my country in a research and analytics role! I strive to improve the lives of my fellow Americans by delivering timely research and analysis to policymakers, such as my clients in the United States Congress and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.I graduated from The University of Georgia in 2011 with a degree in music education. Upon graduating from the University, I taught band, chorus, general music, and language arts in public schools. My work in education deeply impacted my sense of social justice for the poor and working classes, and gave me an appreciation for the oftentimes overwhelming challenges these groups face in daily life. I strongly feel that public policy must be shaped with these groups in mind in order to improve their lives through increased security and opportunity.
