After writing software for 15 years I’ve started to zoom out and focus on the big picture. Currently enjoying Engineering Management and the challenges associated with it.Keeping engineers unblocked, reworking processes to be more efficient, and keeping tabs on higher profile issues means less time in Vim and more time in Google Drive. But hearing praise from individual contributors and achieving OKR’s hits different.I enjoy working with smart individuals, I like being reasonable about what’s achievable, and what needs to be delivered for the customer. My greatest strength is my ability to communicate, and being empathetic with my team.
