Current- Managing a plywood, board, flexi-ply & door manufacturing company with more than 200 employees.- Monitoring daily activities of production and keeping them aligned with company policies.- Actively involved in procurement of hardwoods from Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia and softwoods from Europe & U.S.A.- Documentation relating to imports, issuing of bank Letters of Credit (LC) and liaising with all the parties involved in the import process.- Departmentalised the production process by differentiating 3 key processes and authorised middle managers for each process.- Achieved 20% savings on core veneer production by implementing LEAN principles in the peeling department.- Preparing budget & budgetary control centres for effective & efficient allocation & utilisation of the financial resources.- Managing client & vendor accounts and accounting books with turnover of INR 650 million and above per annum.- Collecting daily production reports from all departments and ensuring daily & monthly production goals are accomplished.- Ensuring quality standards as per Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) by implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) and Six Sigma DMAIC principles.- Timely testing of all the safety & fire equipments in the factory premises. Regularly training maintenance staff for daily safety & fire drills.- Overseeing weekly preventive maintenance of all machineries and technical troubleshooting.- Representing the company in exhibitions like the Dubai Wood Show, DelhiWood, IndiaWood etc.
