• Analyze and fix problems relating to assigned projects. • Develop scripts to create/load common test data using PL/SQL • Perform ad hoc queries (PL/SQL relating to assigned functional areas (Oracle database). • Maintain and enhance the batch modules and shell scripts. • Perform the detailed design of application and technical architecture components and classes. • Work with other developers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals. • Provide knowledge transfer and coach junior stuff and co-workers. • Develop product test scripts and revising regression scripts, participate in product testing. • Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities. • Inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project. • Fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing. • Document the code during development to ensure maintainability. • Perform code profiling by using appropriate tools to confirm coding compliance with application development standards.
