Dusting sparkles in the Insurance industry during the day and leaving traces of glitter in the Event Planning field at night! I began working in the insurance industry as an undergraduate student back in 2012. These past 11 years in the industry have helped allowed me to curate stellar client relationship management skills. My emphasis is on strategy, and my specialty is litigation, to provide optimal resolutions for all parties before the courtroom. My technical work is insurance claims but I have also found my passion in event management in recent years. Event Planning is not just glitz and glamour (although I love {Pomp & Circumstance)! I pride myself on customer experience, attention to detail, and dependability. While I consider each event its own unique experience, the commonality for me is the accomplished feeling when the event my Planning Partners and I have spent been months planning and strategizing comes together. We only get one day to get it right! These skills are also major components of insurance risk management, so while claims and event management seem to be very different, I often find myself using the same key skills for both!I am nothing if not a strategist: I always look at the bigger picture and then break down how we can get there in smaller steps. Communication and education is key for internal and external partners to foster relationship building. Keeping our common goal in mind and recognizing how we as individuals lead the full team to success is crucial for optimal resolutions. On the fun side: I am also really great at Canva and have been know to make fancy PowerPoint presentations! :) Client reviews and customer presentations are a great time for me to get buy-in from customers and represent my company in an enthusiastic and knowledgeable way.In any role, I am easily put in charge of projects and teams (even if I didn't ask :) ) because peers know that I will get the job done. I am a people person and my leadership roles have allowed me to play to peoples strengths and my own, where we can collaborate to get our goals met. I am a lover of all things logistics and creative (and Harry Potter!) and really like making lists just so I can have the satisfaction of checking things off.
