My role within DevEd includes onboarding new engineers, cross-functional relationship-building, product sense, instructional design, project management, external networking, vendor management, and developing custom web applications and integrations on the Netflix engineering stack.- Technical: Technical understanding of the Netflix Engineering stack including NodeJS, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Restful APIs, Material-UI, Spinnaker (continuous delivery), Docker, and engineering knowledge and project management solutions including Jira, Confluence, and Mkdocs.- Cross-Functional Relationship Building: Driving alignment and forming effective partnerships with cross-functional engineering teams on end-to-end developer learning solutions.- Customer Support: Monitoring messaging channels to provide support, make connections, evangelize developer education and identify impactful opportunities.- Data Analysis: Analyze performance indicators and leverage results in strategic planning.- Development: Build end-to-end solutions using Netflix paved road of supported engineering tools as proof of concepts. Advised colleges on compliant web practices in site design, structure, security, privacy, analytics, accessibility, and universal design.- LMS Administration: Configured, administered, maintained, updated, and documented the College’s LMS (Canvas) environment. Collaborated with instructional designers, faculty, and other key stakeholders of the LMS environment to support the development and integration of features and customizations. Collaborated with college administrators, staff, and faculty to develop and implement innovative models for the delivery of instruction via technology-enhanced teaching and learning environments.- Budget: Participated in planning and budgeting processes. Provided strategic budget oversight for areas within the web services including shared software list.

Title: Web Support Analyst- Web Development: Designed, developed, deployed and maintained, college web sites and cross-platform database driven web applications.- System Administration: Administered Windows and Unix web servers, including account creation, back-ups, data recovery site, search engines, logs, usage statistics and documentation- ERP Support: Assisted with ERP (Ellucian Banner) to maintain the Banner self-service web products to better serve faculty, staff and students.- Instructional Designer: Implemented distance education and technology-related initiatives and programs.
