▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Design, Industrial Design, Project Management, Reliability and Product Operations to deliver Google Pixel phones/smart home devices to market. ▪ Provide detailed and critical DFM reviews of mechanical parts and make recommendations to Product Design to improve manufacturing processes for quality, yield and cost.▪ Use statistical process control and yield studies to validate process capability (Cp/Cpk), establish reasonable specifications with PD/ID, and drive process improvements in partnership with a cross functional team. ▪ Work with Reliability Engineering to set up on-going Reliability test plans for manufacturing processes that are critical to function and fix the issue.▪ Be the first level go-to person for identifying suitable manufacturing processes. Identify and highlight manufacturability issues during engineering builds to ensure product quality is stable and that supply is predictable during ramp.
