CurrentI am the Mechanical reactive side of the Industrial ME department.My main role consists of helping production run smoothly via fault finding, production line process improvement, designing tooling and equipment and introducing new processes to a production line.I have helped in the introduction of the first cooperative robot (Cobot) arm on site, allowing certain operations to be done via the Cobot. This has significantly reducing the operation time required to complete a process, from 1 hour to 20 minutes.I have taken ownership of the Cobot from an ME standpoint.
